Astrid Erll

Astrid Erll is a professor of Anglophone literatures and cultures at Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main. She is a co-editor of Media and Cultural Memory (with A. Nünning, de Gruyter, 2004), Companion to Cultural Memory Studies (with A. Nünning, 2010), and author of Memory in Culture (2011). 

 

Ron Eyerman

Ron Eyerman is a professor of sociology at Yale and the co-director of the Center of Cultural Sociology. He is the author of several books including Music and Social Movements (1998), Cultural Trauma (2001), and most recently Memory, Trauma, and Identity (2019).

 

 

Nick Haslam

Nick Haslam is a professor of psychology at the University of Melbourne. He is the author of nine books and more than 200 articles, including Psychology in the Bathroom Introduction (2012). 

 

William Hirst

William Hirst is the Malcolm B. Smith professor and co-chair of psychology at the New School for Social Research. He has written numerous articles and edited several books on memory, especially the social aspects of memory and the formation of collective memories.

 

Daniel Levy

Daniel Levy is a professor of sociology at Stonybook University. He is also co-editor of "The Collective Memory Reader" (with Jeffrey Olick and Vered Vinitzky-Seroussi, 2011). 

 

Jeff Olick and Christina Simko

Jeffrey Olick is the William R. Kenan, Jr. professor of sociology and history and the chair of the sociology department at the University of Virginia.  He is also co-president of the Memory Studies Association and is working on a forthcoming folder. 

 

Ann Rigney

Ann Rigney is the professor of comparative literature at Utrecht University. She is the author of The Rhetoric of Historical Representation: Three Narrative Histories of the French Revolution (1990) and co-editor of Historians and Social Values (2000).
