Jean L. Cohen is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Columbia University and author of Class and Civil Society: The Limits of Marxian Critical Theory (1982).

Klaus Eder is an Associate at the Munich Projektgruppe fur Sozialforschung.  His most recent book is Geschichte als Lernprozess? (1985).

Alberto Melucci  is Associate Professor of Political Sociology at the University of Milan as well as a practicing psychotherapist.  His most recent book is Altri Codici (1984).

Claus Offe is Professor of Political Science and Sociology at the University of Bielefeld.
